Rainbow Bridge

Through the years, too many of our precious ones have made their way to the Rainbow Bridge. We miss them all - but we will see them again.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

I bought Beemer when he was only 10 weeks old - I saw such potential in him - he was a super showman - and the love of my life.

Beemer died in 2000 due to the negligence of a 'so-called' friend who was minding him while my husband and I were on our 'belated' honeymoon.

Not being able to say good-bye to him has haunted me since the day I found out that he was gone.

I miss him to this day - to this day, I would gladly give up all I have just to hold him and kiss him one more time.

He was that one special dog - he will never be replaced - there will never be another like him.

It is with the heaviest of the hearts that we say good-bye to our little handful, TinkerBell.

Tink was hand-raised from birth. She was born with a cleft palate, which required 3 surgeries to fix.

She was living a happy, normal life - giving unending love and tons of kisses.

We are not sure how Tink died, but suspect her birth defect, which still had some lasting effects, had something to do with it.

We never thought she'd have left us so soon, and we are beyond devastated.

We will miss you always, Stinky. Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU....forever.

TJ lived a long and healthy life. He slowed down in his later years and, well, I guess time just caught up with him. We will miss our little POOH. We will miss his bossiness and his independant ways.

We never expected to have to say good-by so soon. Kira gave her life for her puppies. We miss her terribly - the void she has left is enormous.

What can I say about Gretel. She wormed her way into my heart after her daddy, Beemer, passed away.

Gretel gave her life for her 2 daughters. She got an infection after they were born, and even after an emergency spay, the infection spread to her stomach and she passed away when her girls were only 9 days old.

We kept her daughter, Squirrel's Final Edition, Tori, who is so much like her mom, it is uncanny - we call her the Princess.

TC was Robert's best friend. They did almost everthing together, including motorcycle rides.

We miss our matriarch. I miss her always having to check out EVERY new bag that came in to the house!
